A Week Driving As Lalamove Driver

What is Lalamove?

Lalamove is a logistics app that acts like Uber/Grab of Delivery, you can have your stuff delivered by Lalamove motorcycle, car, van and lorry.

For Drivers partners, you can deliver stuffs at your convenient time and make extra income (supposedly).

If you don’t mind installing Lalamove stickers at your car, you can make RM70 per month just by sticking Lalamove stickers in your car.

Trying to be Lalamove driver.

Last week was my first week trying to be a Lalamove driver, I have delivered many items including food, cakes, tyres, boxes, parcels, bags etc. There is no need for a PSV license to be lalamove driver unlike Grab/InDriver.

Above was my first delivery sending food from restaurant.

The fare was RM 6 to RM 21 depending on the distance of the trip and there is a commission 20% commission charged by Lalamove.

Payment can be made by cash or credit. If payment is made by credit you can withdraw it to your bank at each day or your work.

Last week alone I made RM 83.69 after commission. However my petrol fees incurred was around RM 90+. Although I have made personal (non-lalamove) trips I do expect to earn more than my petrol fees incurred.

Conclusion

In conclusion, Lalamove is not so great way of earning a side income since the earning is so little after commission.
